Device Drivers
The Snapshot plays an effective role in backup and recovery strategy. The snapshot module implemented by us is independent of time of copying a logical volume at block level. The entire data without the original disk for the time stamp can be retrieved incase of the data loss. We have written the filter scheme/media filter driver for taking snapshot of logical volume. This driver resides in the kernel space.
We have implemented SCSI pass through driver on Mac OS X kernel space as per the client requirement.
We have customized the FC target mode driver on Linux. The existing driver was a code with minimal features. We have developed a customized product as per client requirement.
As a part of SCSI RAID controller implementation, we have applied a SCSI target emulation layer on Linux.
Our generic RAID framework implementation is an extensible architecture to support different RAID levels.
We have employed SCSI hardware RAID 0 algorithm as a part of RAID controller implementation.
We have added features to existing DRBD open sources. We have extended volume support to DRBD sources upto more than 4 TB.
To capture the changes occurring to a set of selected files, we have applied a file system filter driver. This helps achieve rollback and version maintenance and facilitate recovery of data from accidental corruption of files. |
