Fiber Channel
We have addressed a Firmware requirement which involved implementation of complete RAID controller which has FC-Target mode driver exposing the RAID volumes as a LUN to the SCSI host connected using SCSI ultra 320 cable. For this, we have, in major, customized FC Target Mode Driver.
Our proprietary product, SPSTOR, is a highly scalable and available SAN management architecture that we have implemented with centralized GUI using FC-SAN. The GUI contains features like Scalable Objects, Event View, Detailed View, Tree View, Topology, and Task View.
SCSI
In our SCSI RAID Firmware project, we have provided SCSI target mode emulation and extensible generic RAID framework with RAID-0 implementation. The implementation involved following features.
- Developing Target Emulator which can serve multiple initiators simultaneously and works with Windows and Linux Hosts
- Developing extensible generic RAID Framework with RAID 0 implementation for Hardware RAID
We have implemented iSCSI target stack which allows block level storage access over an Ethernet network. We have extended our SCSI know-how in SCSI Erasure application which securely erases multiple SCSI disks attached to the host system simultaneously, using DOD standards.
The application also provides functionality of writing to multiple SCSI disks connected to multiple controllers, performs specified data erasure routine on drive, and also rescan the SCSI bus to find the attached SCSI disk. The application has integration with a web service using SOAP to authenticate and obtain erasure level information.
