Intellectual Property Protection Policies

A critical requirement of our customers, in planning, outsourcing and partnership, is the protection of their intellectual property rights (IPRs) for existing and upcoming projects. In current competitive, global business environment, it has become ever more important to safeguard one’s IPRs. Our corporate policies for safeguarding our customer’s intellectual property are well defined and follow the law of the land where the customers business is incorporated.

SPSOFT, having worked with global customers in outsourced services, understands the intellectual property protection concerns of its customers and had implements following practices and policies to meet our customers IP protection need.

Non Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)

• SPSOFT signs a Non Disclosure Agreement with the client to protect our customer’s confidential information.
• SPSOFT signs a Non Disclosure Agreement with its employees towards projects prior to engagement and initiation. This becomes another check-point towards removing chances of code pilferage and illegal knowledge transfer.

Physical Control

SPSOFT’s networks are segregated based on protection needs of the customers and all sensitive data is stored under physical security.

Access Control

SPSOFT employees working for a particular customer or project have access only to designated area for their work.

Digital Security

Only authorized employees who are a part of the project are permitted to access the development environment and project information.

Building Security

SPSOFT’s facility has 24x7 security staff and all visitors are thoroughly screened before allowing entry into SPSOFTs office.

Employee Retention

SPSOFT HR initiative have ensured high retention and long-term association of employees to SPSOFT and in turn to our customers.

Employee Training

Our HR initiative ensures regular training of our employees for SPSOFTs IP Protection Policies and practices.

Our network policies enforce restricted access to outside networks for engineers. This provides further strengthening of our protection policies. SPSOFT incorporates logically and physically separated work spaces for individual customer project.
