Different Engagement / Business models are -
a) DEDICATED IT TEAMS
Among our development models, we have the concept
of Dedicated IT teams or a Virtual Office setup,
wherein clients can use our resources (office
space, consultants, and other facilities) at our
development center. This model is very popular
with many clients, who have their Project leaders/managers
visiting SPSOFT, during the course of the project.
PROCESS:
- Requirement to SPSOFT (Number of resources,
skills, experience& duration)
- Allocation of dedicated skilled resources
as per client's requirement
- Allocation of project manager
- Project execution, daily / weekly reporting
- Flexibility to scale team size
- Monthly billing
b) TIME AND MATERIAL
In this model the customer is charged for the
actual number of hours spent on the project. This
model is normally followed when the clarity on
the specifications is low. You can have different
type of resources working dedicatedly for you
and switching between the tasks is possible as
per your expectation. You can utilize these resources
for research, predevelopment, development, Testing
and Support activities. SPSOFT's Time & Material
Business Model offers its clients the flexibility
to alter requirement specification, team size
and time line of projects based on market trends
and feedback. This model suits best for most of
the projects due to software development project's
inherent need of altering specification throughout
the development life cycle.
PROCESS:
- Scope for work from client
- Client specifies the number of resource requirement
with the experience and skills required
- SPSOFT allocates the resources as per the
client requirement on the project
- SPSOFT allocates its Project Manager as a
one point contact for the client at SPSOFT and
he/she would be responsible for all sort of
reporting to the client on Daily/Weekly/Monthly
basis as per the clients requirement
- The client can increase the team size as
and when required
- SPSOFT sends Monthly invoice for the total
hours consumed by each resource along with time
sheets
c) FIXED COST MODEL:
SPSOFT offers a Fixed Price Business Model for
projects where requirement specifications and
time lines are clearly defined and frozen. This
helps clients if they have a fixed budget for
development and are sure about their requirements.
We work with our client to define expected deliverables
to determine a mutually agreed fixed price. SPSOFT
has created a Fixed-Cost Development Model in
order to approach RFP's in a logical and thorough
manner. SPSOFT is well versed in the process of
assessing complexity, sizing and estimation of
costs. We are prepared to meet criteria that an
organization requires in order to make a selection.
