NAS
SPSOFT has developed industries first, unique NAS/SAN Unified Server solution for our customer. This product has won the "Product of the Year 2007" in Macworld Awards. It is an enterprise level software solution designed for backup application. The product was built to address the problem of creating and implementing open and affordable enterprise-class data storage solutions on Mac OS X for single and multi-site heterogeneous environments.

SAN
SPSOFT has a remarkable experience in delivering SAN management including SAN (Hosts, Switches, and Arrays) software, services and solutions to minimize associated cost for data access and management. We have addressed many a project requirements, offering flexible, scalable and enterprise-class level SAN solutions applicable globally.

IP SAN
Our IPSAN services provide an alternative to the conventional FC-SAN storage solutions, which enables combat FC-SAN related problems viz. expenditure, performance, complexity, and interoperability.

With a decade experience in storage, SPSOFT has developed an expertise in different types of backup and recovery technologies. Our know-how in file as well as block level backup (snapshot) in addition to experience in application and exchange server backup, enables us to provide solutions for protection and recovery of client's vital data. We have also executed CDP (continuous data protection) solution for imperative data security with a unique model combining conventional True CDP and Near CDP to acquire best of both solutions.

CDP
For disaster recovery, we have combined the benefits of the conventional CDP protocols and come up with a blend of near CDP and true CDP. In addition to the volume snapshots at regular intervals, our CDP product provides capturing of each delta or change in the data. Snapshot is taken using Copy on Write (COW) mechanism whereas CDP is done by maintaining a journal of changes to the volume. This ensures data protection with consistency.

Snapshot
As a part of Backup and Restore Management, we provide volume level snapshot in active server environment. We have also fused techniques of volume level snapshots with COW for independent snapshot feature to guarantee data security with consistency.

We have worked at diverse levels of Storage Resource Management including device management, application management, arrays, switch, NAS, HBA, Tape and related services.

We have provided the management solutions using SMI-S, CIM/WBEM, SNMP, and WMI protocols. In addition, We have developed remote centralized management console for devices and applications. Our storage management includes Enterprise SAN Management GUI Development using standard three-tier architecture.

Server Virtualisation
We have executed variety of projects in the virtualization environment such as Xen and KVM.

We have re-architected and implemented an i/o SCSI and Networking related para virtualizations driver for Xen and currently are developing a para virtualization deriver for KVM.

We are familiar with platforms such as VMware systems , Solaris containers, Zones and XVM parallels and so on.

VSS
SPSOFT proprietary VSS Hardware provider implementation serves network efficient snapshot implementation. This product enables consistent volume level snapshots from the application perspective which contributes to effective data protection.

VDS
SPSOFT storage know-how extends in providing Virtual Disk Service which endow application developers with a unified interface to write management applications for underlying hardware from different storage systems independent of vendor specific APIs.

Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI)
WMI provides fully integrated operating system support for uniform system and applications management, based on the Common Information Model (CIM) adopted by the DMTF.
